I am currently working on the 2016-2017 fencing schedule for the San Bernardino Divison.
The first tournament will be held at College of the Desert on Saturday, September 16, 2016, 3-weapon open, then Saturday, October 15, 2016, at College of the Desert, 3-weapon open.
I am interested to know if the lady epee fencers would like to have their own epee competition. Instead of competing with the men, we can hold a ladies epee competition. We would need at least six women to make a pool. Of course, more ladies are welcome!
I’d like to know if there is any interest. If there is interest, we’d schedule close of check-in for the women’s epee competition at 11:00 a.m., with fencing to commence at 11:30 a.m.
One item, there would be no cross-over to fence in the Mixed Epee event. If a woman does want to compete in the Mixed Epee event, she may, but only that event, no cross-over.
