It is that time to renew your USFA membership for the 2016-2017 season.
The USFA is striving to streamline the membership application process by having you create a profile and then complete your USFA membership application online.
You can still print out, fill out and mail in a paper membership application, but you’ll have to add $10 to cover the paper handling fee.
So, if you are planning on competing in your first tournament of the season and filling out a paper membership application at the event, you may do so, but that $10 paper fee will apply. So, try to get that done before you come online.
And please bring proof of your membership. Either a receipt or a membership card.
In addition, and even though it is not yet official, we will be using the new saber en garde line at all our Division tournaments. Remember to bring your 800 Newton saber glove with you!
Also, for all our San Bernardino Division tournaments, you may pre-register on AskFred.net. That gives the organizers an idea as to how many fencers are coming and how many strips to set up. You pay at the event.
Close of online AskFred pre- registration is 11:59 p.m. on Thursday night. Of course, anyone may come and register at the door.
